Presentation

I decided that it would be worth a little more money, and time, to buy ribbon for each of my blankets, and tie them up. I think this gives them a professional look... it's all about presentation. :) Oh, and this is a blanket I finished this morning. I'm not a fan of yellow, but I think it looks good with the red satin.

Little Blankets

I bought this dot material to do some of the edges of some of my blankets(instead of satin), but it turned out to be too thick to use... so I have enough fabric to make two small blankets... some kids like having small soft blankets to take around with them. I'll probably try sell these at $15... they're only 28" by 29" and my other blankets are 35" by 42".
I also found out that the bazaar at my husbands work is 3 days AFTER my trip... which is the reason for making these, for some spending money. So, my cute husband made me an ad on Craigslist to help me sell some BEFORE my trip. :)

Touchdown

A "BOY" blanket... and I think it turned out pretty good. I'm always happier after finishing a blanket in PINK, but I think this looks pretty good. :)

Play Ball

Next blanket... for a boy. :) I think I might actually send this to my cousin, who just had a baby boy. I think it's very "baby" looking.

Still Sewing

I stayed up late last night sewing... until about midnight... I know that's not late to most people, but when your kids wake you up at 6:30 am you go to bed much earlier than midnight. :) I woke up this morning, at 6:30 am, with my kids... I made breakfast, and of course COFFEE. Then picked up my house for the carpet cleaners (scheduled to clean my carpets this morning, after a summer of FIVE kids running in and out with dirty feet). Anyway, while my carpets were getting cleaned, I stood at my kitchen counter and sewed another "GIRL" blanket. :) I thought it was so pretty I wanted to start it, and not a "BOY" blanket. As I'm still not sure I have anything cute enough to make a good "BOY" blanket. The next blanket I make will be a boy blanket... I think.

Two More Blankets....

So, I wanted to do a pink and brown blanket... but I couldn't find any fabric with those colors together. But I came up with this instead, and I think it works. :) I think it's pretty cute... and it's really soft.

Purple... I needed a purple one. I think this turned out really cute. The side with the crowns is also sparkly. I think it's pretty. :)

Boy Blanket

Here's my next blanket... I did this today while the little one napped, and the other two helped... sort of. :) I had a hard time finding "BOY" fabric. I thought this worked, and that it was kind of cute. I think there are more options for girl fabrics, or I'm just so used to pink and purple, I don't see any other colors. :)
